Taylor-Swift

Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country music singer-songwriter whose tales of young heartache achieved widespread recognition in the beginning of the 21st century. Swift was a fan of music since a young age. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater before performing in front of a large crowd. In 2011, Swift, aged 11 at the time, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game. Following that, Swift began writing her own music. Swift created original music inspired by the country music of musicians such as Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) as well as Dixie Chicks. Her material expressed Swift's feelings about tweens being apathetic. At the age of 13, Swift's parents sold their farm in Pennsylvania to move into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time in courting the country music labels near Nashville.
