Her mother wasn't aware of her abuse until Andressa published her book. In her interviews, the famous woman said that prior to the conversion to Christ, she was unable to forgive her victim. This was among the toughest decisions I've ever made. I contacted the man who had sexually assaulted me. The choice was not easy. Although I was not in any way guilty, I sought his forgiveness via phone following a series of prayer vows. Then I asked for forgiveness without justifying my actions.
